And a review you shall have!

I loved The Martian. it was a truly wonderful film and would eagerly anticipate watching it again!

I felt everything was so clever and just so well worked. Matt Damon was incredible, like honestly, he was funny and was a true genius which I thought wonderful. His humour appealed to me greatly, he made everything that was in a near death situation funny with his sarcastic comments. I love sarcasm and I'm an overly sarcastic person. I'm trying to keep this short and sweet, so I'll end it with this.

Myself and Will have deemed the film to have a gold rating on our list!

In other news, myself and Will are also thinking of making a twitter for short film reviews! It should be coming soon!

I took a evolution of cinema class last year, here are a few good ones that I recommend!
    • Singin' in the Rain (1952: Musical) This is by far my favorite!
    • Swing Time (1936: Musical)
    • Double Indemnity (1944: Film Noir)
    • It Happened One Night (1934: Screwball Comedy)
    • Bringing Up Baby (1938: Screwball Comedy)
    • Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956: Science Fiction)
    • The Invasion (2007: Science Fiction, remake of the one above but still good!)
    • Tron (1982: Science Fiction)
    • Tron: Legacy (2010: Science Fiction, sequel to Tron)

There is certainly a few on there that myself and Will need to discuss!

I love the sound of Tron, purely because I love Daft Punk and I know they did the soundtrack, and singing in the rain is a classic!

I'll leave Will to review the rest, purely because he knows more than me

Singin' in the Rain is going on because it's an absolute classic and just generally wonderful film.
Swing Time - it sounds fun!
Double Indemnity because I absolutely love film noir.
It Happened One Night sounds like a strange however exciting film!
Okay so, Invasion of the Body Snatchers that is definitely going on this list and I'm not sure why it's already not. Although I'm actually a fan of War of the Worlds it's nothing compared to this absolute masterpiece.
I've seen The Invasion but maybe Mark hasn't (I'm assuming he hasn't)
Tron unfortunately will not be going on mainly due to the fact that it wasn't really that amazing of a film, however Tron: Legacy will because the soundtrack is brilliant!
Since you've brought up some pretty old films here I will also be throwing in Harvery - A film about a guy who's best friend is a giant invisible rabbit however you never actually see this rabbit, you only see him mimicking where he is sitting, standing, moving, etc. and it's so insanely clever it's just something you can't miss.
    Your post is deemed worthy!
Edit: Forgot about Bringing Up Baby and once I read the description and how crazy it sounded it's definitely going on the list too!

Star Wars 4, 5, 6, 7 and Rogue One are on the list.
Mark and I have previously decided that, although a Marvel film is a good watch, most of the time it's not a big deal if they're missed and therefore will not be going on the list.

That is very true about Marvel, (tbh that was my first Marvel movie and I suppose I got caught up in how much I enjoyed it.) BTW: out of Star Wars, I'd vote on "A New Hope".

Forgot to hit reply on Pringle's post. GG Prez.

    I got notified anyway ;)
I should have also been more specific about the Star Wars films that are on the list and have since edited the list.

Star Wars 4 is A New Hope.

Already on the list and I just went to see it the other night and thought it was absolutely incredible.

It's an Edgar Wright film, I would imagine pretty well considering how famous all his previous films have been!
