@Sheila I was never particularly bothered about that Sherlock Holmes, it was good but not particularly amazing.
However, Goodbye, Lenin! has Daniel Bruhl, who is an amazing actor and therefore your post is deemed worthy!

@Atramensia it had not occurred to me that it was not already on the list. Your post is deemed worthy!

Some movies I recommend (and couldn't find in the list) since I'm a movie freak as well ^-^

Ip Man (up to you if you wanna watch ip man 2 and 3 as well)
96 hours (pretty surprised its not listed)
    the judge
    cube
inception (pretty sure you've seen it already)
    oldboy
    the invisible guest
    a beautiful mind

I might list a few more later. Those ones just crossed my mind when I was viewing your list.

@VeLoX I forgot about IP man, however I will be including it on the list.
If we're thinking of the same film called "96 Hours" where it's alternative title is Taken, then surely you can see why it's not on the list.
Never heard of The Judge, however considering Mark and I's unhealthy obsession with Billy Bob Thornton it will be included.
Cube in my opinion wasn't great, however I'll put on the list since I do consider it a reasonable classic.
We're unsure as to whether Inception should be gold, and therefore shall be.
I too am surprised Oldboy wasn't already on this list and therefore shall be included since I absolutely love that film.
Never heard of The Invisible Guest however will be included among the list.
And finally, I've heard mixed about A Beautiful Mind, however it will be included among the list.

@Externalizable please do not double post. You know the rules. ;)

@Vaneskah The reason The Boy in the Striped in Pajamas is not on the list is due to both Mark and I having already seen this film and do not think it deserves to be on the list. I will not deny that it is a good film though!

The most PG-ish movie I could think of that's pretty good is both the Pitch Perfect movies (The third one will be recommended once it comes out too hehe)

Another suggestion is Snatched but yaknow watch it if you would like

    @Pibbles
Since I actually rather enjoyed Pitch Perfect I will be adding this to the list.
However, I was not a huge fan of the second one, like it was okay but it wasn't amazing so I'll give that one a miss on the list.

I don't really watch movies too much, but one that I remember recently watching and enjoying is Contact. It's kinda like Interstellar but more philosophical.

We have both seen it, but don't deem it good enough to be gold! Nevertheless, it is a great movie!

As far as I'm aware we have both seen Beauty and the Beast however I'll to make sure with Mark about that and for now it will be a light blue colour on the list until confirmed. Mark will either change the colour red or remove it. It's a wonderful film however would not deem it a masterpiece in our eyes!
The Avengers, although a fun watch can only really be watched so many times before you get bored.
Hmm... Lord of the Rings... @Bismark ?? Gold possibly?
Will not be including the Hobbit. I never understood why I needed to watch 9 hours worth of the shortest book in the series.
I love all the new Planet of the Apes and would like marks approval to be added to the list.
    Frozen... @Nekrosion
Which Alice in Wonderland are you talking about exactly?
