Today I decided to try out shaders for the first time because minecraft just looked sad and boring. I got a shaders pack for optifine and configured the settings.

This is how it turned out:

Yes I was playing survival mode and currently building my little house to protect myself from the spooks...

Aww, I love shaders :D They always make everything so pretty!
I've never had them make my night THAT dark though, that looks so cool o:

Shaders in Minecraft virtualizes the aspect of the game in a more realistic way.
Making the blocky game come alive in ways like ocean waves, trees and flowers gently swaying in the wind.

It's a nice screenshot and even if its night time, you still get some details (Since some Shaders packs, is just impossible to use at night)

I would personally recommend Seus Complete, a shader pack overhaul.
But most likely it'll be hard to run with less than 20-30 fps at max res, unless you do have a very beasty PC.
And there is even more pc-consuming shaders out there that looks even better.
