We are a lively group of Hide and Seek players who strive to continue new and old friendships and to remain active in the game mode we love. All of our members take part in ensuring that Merciless and Hide and Seek is a positive and safe environment. Requirements Must be rank Invisible [300k points] or above Exceptions can be made for Magician+ [100k points] *FAQ* Must be at least 12 and mature. Must have Discord. Sign up for Discord here. Members must follow all Hide and Seek rules, Hive rules, and our Merciless clan rules. Cannot be in any other Hide and Seek group/clan. Must be active in Hide and Seek. (We will be having monthly activity checks) Frequently Asked Questions Spoiler: FAQ Q: What is the difference between executives and trustees? A: Executives were the ones that founded Merciless and do the most duties for the clan. Trustees is a lower position than executive, however they are also staff. Trustees also do duties for the clan but it is less compared to executive duties. Q: I am a Magician or an Escapist and I want to apply, what are my chances of getting accepted? A: We are much more strict when looking at applications for those who are either Magician or Escapist compared to those who are Invisible or higher. This being said, if you are a Magician or Escapist and you want to apply, we expect that you are at least very much active in the game. Of course we will be considering other factors when analyzing your application besides activity. Q: When will I hear back from my application? A: Timed decisions will vary on person to person. Typically if you have been a part of the group before, you will get a faster reply than someone who wasn't. If you were denied and you are re-applying, you may also get a fast reply. Please do not ask us about your application as that may be one of the factors to hurt your application decision. Q: Since I was a part of Merciless in the past, do I still have to re-apply? A: Yes, you still have to re-apply despite being a member in the past but if there is a good reason why you are unable to re-apply then message @Bellugh and from there I'll see if you can be added to the clan without re-applying. Q: I got denied, how long should I wait before re-applying? A: One - three months since the response of your application. This way, it will give time for our members or staff (Sometimes both) to gain a new perspective on any specific applicants. The time will vary depending on the applicant and the situation, a wait time will be given to you in the response to your application. If you are ever curious to know more information why you were denied, private message the executive @Bellugh. Q: I've been denied more than once, what are my chances in getting accepted the next time I apply? A: If you were denied once or twice from Merciless there is still a pretty decent chance of you getting accepted to the clan. All you must do is wait out the time, be active in Hide and Seek, and have good standing with those in the community. However, if you were denied twice or more, your chances in getting accepted are very slim. Q: I was removed from the clan! Am I able to re-apply? A: If you were removed due to inactivity in Hide and Seek you are free to re-apply once you have established that you are now active in the gamemode. However, if you were removed due to another reason, you must wait 1-3 months (Unless told otherwise) before re-applying. Q: What kind of things do you do in Merciless? A: The other staff members and I host HnS events and non-HnS events, usually what is requested by the other group members. (For videos of past Merciless events, click here) Q: Where do I find the Hide and Seek leaderboards? A: You can find the HnS leaderboards here. The leaderboard is in order from most to least victories, from there you should be able to find your place accordingly. If by any chance you are not on the leaderboards mention in your application "Not on the lbd". Q: What is the difference between a trial member and a member? A: A trial member is usually a new member who is new and has not been a part of Merciless before applying or is a member who's not new but has not yet reached rank Invisible. A member are members who have been a part of Merciless for a good amount of time and showed their dedication to the group. Q: I am a trial member and I exceed the amount of points required to join, how do I become a member? A: You will get promoted to a member once you have shown your dedication to the group by participating in the chats and being active in Hide and Seek. Q: I am a trial member but I am not rank Invisible, how do I become a member? A: You will not become a member until you have reached rank Invisible, so get on the Hive and play some Hide and Seek!
