We will be posting further updates on our Discord. ______________________ Below, we have made an extensive FAQ to answer as much as possible. Java 2? What does this mean? We’ve posted about the update a while ago, check out this thread for some in-depth information: https://forum.hivemc.com/threads/325773/ Will my rank, unlocks, in-game points, tokens etc be affected? None of this will change. When we come back online you will still have everything - right where you left it. What are the stats going to be like for the new Survival Games? We will be starting this game with fresh stats that work how the classic stats worked. We want there to be fresh competition when this comes out and it can't be done with any old stats from when there was a point exploit in the current version of SG. How will Arcade Shuffle stats work? Each game within Arcade Shuffle will have standalone game stats. If there was a game like Splegg that is a going to be in the Arcade, then we will have merged your standalone game equivalent so your progress is not lost. About Win Streaks... We have hidden the public display of win streaks in all games except BlockParty and Gravity. You can still track your personal win streak but want to discourage some of the targeting people feel once they are on a hot streak. /queue command You can now use `/queue` (or `/q` if you want to be extra speedy) to queue for a game. If you wanted to join a game of BlockParty, you would type `/queue bp`. You can do this from anywhere on the server! What about the compass? We've made some changes to the compass too. The compass now behaves similarly to the game NPCs. Instead of taking you the game's hub, clicking a game will now teleport into next available, fullest game. Like with the game NPCs, you can right-click each game to view all the joinable games and on-going games that you can spectate. Teaming in games We've made a few changes to how you can choose who you team with, in games which allow teaming. If you are in a party, you'll now be automatically teamed someone from your party. These changes were crucial to ensure that we can have fast queuing and fair team balancing. If you're not in a party, you can still select who you want to team with, as you could before. New fighting pit in the hub We've added a brand new fighting pit to the hub! The fighting pit is purely for fun and there are no statistics associated with it, have fun settling scores in a new way! You can also type '/pvp' in the hub to get right into the action. Bug Reporting If you come across a bug, please report it using the in-game /report command. When reporting a bug, please include as much information as possible, and screenshots/videos if applicable. Also - what map it happened on can really help.
