    Hey bees!
Today I'm going to show you guys how to remove the black lines on your skin. If you don't know how to, read on! The lines look something like this:

If anyone needs any further assistance, feel free to contact me personally on the forums! :)

    1. Choose the skin you want. If you want some good websites that provide good quality skins, go to the following: NameMC, Nova Skin, Skindex
    [IMG]
Once you have chosen your skin, make sure to click the "Apply"/ "Upload to Minecraft" button.

    2. Log into your Minecraft account via the Minecraft website. (This should already be opened if you clicked 1 of the 2 buttons above.)

    3. You will now see a page similar to this:
If you see this, great! Look at the image provided above, there is a bar that states "Classic (Steve)". Click on that and change it to "Slim (Alex)"

    4. Lastly, click "Change" (It should be below your skin template.)

If you are on a minecraft server whilst doing this process, log off it then, log back in otherwise your skin will remain the same (Black lines) until you disconnect from the server.
You should now have your new skin which, does not (hopefully) have those black lines on! :D

Have a nice rest of your day/evening/night bees!
Hope this helped some of you! :)

    THANK YOU SO MUCH
I first had this issue when I uploaded my skin to minecraft.net because I forgot it was meant for the Alex model. Then I remembered :p
Anyways, I see a ton of people with black lines on their skins nowadays, and when I tell them the issue, they're just AFK. This thread will certainly help a ton of people!

Very useful for new players! Mojang should really try to add an an auto detect feature so people don't have to do this :p

Sometimes I have a steve-netted skin and upload it with the Alex net. I end up having the columns of my arm all mixed up, because it's all bunched up.

Please don't necropost on old threads. Necroposting is when you comment on a thread that has not had a new post in over 30 days. Last comment was posted Nov 23, 2016.
As the thread still serves a purpose and is useful to many, it will remain open. Have a good day!
